In the heart of downtown Keene, NH, Platz Beer Garden is a unique destination built inside a beautifully restored historic church on Court Street steps from Keene’s iconic Central Square.
With ~20 rotating taps, curated wines, ready-to-drink cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and German-inspired fare, Platz blends European beer hall energy with New England hospitality.

In German, “Platz” means place, a square, a gathering point, a shared space. We chose the name intentionally.
This building was once a center of community. Today, it’s been thoughtfully restored as an energy-efficient, modern beer garden designed to bring people together once again.
Whether you’re meeting coworkers after work, bringing your family for giant chess and pretzels, or raising a stein during Oktoberfest, there’s a Platz here for you.
